The moral of this post is, when your brother cheats at scrabble and monopoly your whole life, you can get him back by taking pictures of his butt going through a window later.

So, I wrote a talk for Sara, because she was shouting at me, "I don't want to do it, it is so stupid, I hate this crap how they make you speak when you don't want to!" and the like. So I write the talk, hand her the paper and say "Here you go, Marcus and I will be making faces at you". So she gives the talk this morning with the look of "death to mom" on her face, but at least she did it, one more speaking experience under her belt. So people in the halls at church walk past Sara and say, "Wow, Sara great talk today!" or "You did such a good job on your talk Sara, it was just wonderful!" And I'm saying to myself, just breathe. I realize she wil probably be shouting things at me for the next 5 years, but I still love her. She is a great gal!

Happy 11th Stephen!

I can't believe he is 11! Whatever! He starts middle school this year too which is totally, whatever! He had a fun b-day party, we took some of his friends to the Bainbridge Island pool, which is AWESOME, and came home for pizza and cake and of course presents, which included legos, video games, a pocket knife for scouts, and a door alarm. Fun day for Stephen!!!! Oh yeah, he wanted his cake decorated like a DS lite, whatever!

My Niece, Elise. Hey, that rhymes.

Elise got to come stay with me for a few days while her baby sister, Evie, had her heart surgery. We had a lot of fun together, we made pizza, went to the beach, played on the giant waterslide, and other such fun! I just love her, she calls me "Lizzie"!

I love summer, I hate summer

The one thing I love about summer is ................no socks! No washing them, no drying and sorting them, nobody saying "Mom! I need socks!" It's sandals all the way...

The one thing I hate about summer is ..................neighbor kids! We have a gazillion of them in our neighborhood and they all seem to want to pull all the branches off my trees! There are practically no fences and so all the kids run from one yard to the next, all day long and while it's fun for the kids to just go go go, my trees are suffering!!! Ahhhh!!!
